A Hidden Grove in the Idaho Hills

Misty mornings, starlit evenings, and a forest ceremony your guests won’t forget — just outside Emmett, Idaho.

Just past Eagle, the road rises over the northern foothills and drops into the Emmett Valley — a secluded, fertile stretch of farmland cradling the Payette River in Gem County, Idaho. Follow County Line Road out to where the pavement gives way to open acreage and valley views that stretch for miles, and you’ll find something unexpected: seventeen acres of towering trees, string lights, and a ceremony space built for the kind of evening you can’t plan for. Mornings bring mist settling across the valley floor; evenings bring the kind of sunsets people pull over for. And after dark, with almost no light pollution for miles around, the stars and the Milky Way come out in full — and on rare, lucky nights, so does the aurora.

Misty Valley Grove is a secluded, seventeen-acre forest venue built for couples who want something different — an outdoor ceremony framed by mature trees, a reception strung with hundreds of warm lights, and a setting no one else in the Treasure Valley can offer. We’re new, we’re intimate by design (50–80 guests), and we work with the caterer, florist, and photographer you already love.

What Makes This Place Different

  • Forest Ceremony Space — Exchange vows beneath a living canopy of trees, with The Lantern Circle as your backdrop.
  • String Lights at Night — Hundreds of warm lights transform the grove after sunset; it’s the single most-requested photo on the property.
  • Rustic, Handmade Details — A wooden stage, reclaimed-wood touches, and working-farm character you can’t fake.
  • Bring Your Own Vendors — Choose your own caterer, florist, and photographer; no required vendor list.

Dates are limited while we’re in our first season — reach out early to hold yours.
